Estimating square footage
Multiply the base measurement in feet times the height in feet.
To find the number of square feet in any shape triangle or 3 sided surface, multiply the height by the width and divide the total by 2.
To find the number of square feet in a circle, multiply 1/2 the diameter (distance across) of the circle by itself then multiply the total by 3.1416.
Estimating Gallonage
The amount of paint needed for a particular job can be determined in the square footage of the job is known. The square footage coverage of each product is shown on the front of its specification sheet.

Dividing the square footage by square foot coverage will give the number of gallons needed per coat for the job.

Example:

sq. ft. coverage per gallon 400
